SE Home Page Doesnt Change

If you have followed all the necessary steps to change your home page but Smart Explorer reverts back to your previous home page, the true problem could be one or more of the following:
- Smart Explorer has been installed multiple times on the same computer under the same user account. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to completely exit any copies of Smart Explorer that are running. Completely uninstall Smart Explorer and then reinstall a fresh copy. Enter your registration information to convert the trial version into the full version.
- Smart Explorer is importing the home page from Internet Explorer's settings. Since Internet Explorer is embedded into the core of Windows, the Microsoft web browser will attempt to assert it's authority. When running Smart Explorer, select Internet Options from the Options menu. Change the Home Page (or click Use Blank). Click Apply. Click OK. Exit out of Smart Explorer.
- Your anti-virus or anti-spyware software may have a home page protection feature that was added in a recent update. Consult the documentation for that software for more information.
