Secure FTP Support

The current versions of BulletProof FTP software do not offer SSL or encrypted FTP transactions (SSH, SFTP).

However a work-around is available, by compressing and encrypting the file prior to transmission, you can help to ensure that the data isn't "sniffed" and stolen. I would recommend using WinRAR. Essentially, this is a better ZIP file with much better encryption support and control over the archival process. Once you have compressed/encrypted the file using this tool, the file can be easily FTP'd and sent to to the FTP Server. Please note, you will need to use the same product to uncompress/unencrypt the transferred file.

SSL/Encryption functionality will be available in our next major release of BulletProof Software v3.x.
