Please understand that the advice we offer is just that, advice. We are not affiliated with Adobe and only offer assistance based on our personal experience. That said, your first step would be to make sure Adobe Reader is set as the default reader for .PDF files. Save a .PDF file to your hard drive. Right click on the file. If "Open with Acrobat" is at the top of the list, skip to the next paragraph. If "Open with..." is at the top of the list, select that option. In the box that pops up, select Adobe Reader (you may need to browse to find the program if it isn't listed) and make sure the box marked "Always use the selected program..." is checked. Click OK.

Open Adobe Reader and select Preferences from the Edit menu (CTRL + K). Select Internet from the column on the left and make sure the boxes marked "Display PDF in Browser" and "Check browser settings when starting Reader" are checked. Click OK. Close Adobe Reader.

Start Smart Explorer. Under the Options menu, select Preferences. Choose Miscellaneous from the column on the left. Make sure the box marked, "Identify as Internet Explorer to web sites" is checked. Click Apply. Click OK. Exit Smart Explorer.

You should be able to view .PDF files from within Smart Explorer. If you encounter further difficulties, please contact Adobe directly. More useful information can be found at the website below.
